‘One Voice’ pop-up performance workshop with artist Carolyn Mendelsohn

A great week working with the women who are ONE VOICE … developing an original pop-up theatre piece with commissioned artist Carolyn Mendelsohn …

and then attending Touchstones Rochdale, for the Rachel Kneebone exhibition – a new series of sculptures and drawings which deepen Rachel’s investigations into the experience of inhabiting the body.  Saturday’s launch event exhibition was accompanied by a specially commissioned piece of contemporary dance choreographed by critically acclaimed TC Howard in collaboration with women from Rochdale and the Greater Manchester area.

It was a wonderful opportunity for these women to come together and discuss opportunities for women for participation and self-expression – the ONE VOICE women hope to develop opportunities for creative collaboration in the near future … watch this space!
