About the event
We are super excited to be organising and facilitating this event together with the woman of the One Voice Collective - a group of women who encourage Calderdale residents from ALL communities, to come together and work out solutions for themselves - as active citizens. This exciting 2-day celebration event will feature a range of innovative and inspirational hands-on activities, including:
Film screenings
Open mic events
Exhibition of artwork from the Shared Pathways project
Live Talks - exploring key issues affecting women's health & wellness
A series of interactive workshops At ONE VOICE, women from different backgrounds and life experiences sit around a table and talk. They share stories, ideas, creative activities and formulate collective responses. We believe, that when people come together like this, in a space filled with love, understanding and compassion, free from assumptions about difference, the message we send out to wider society can be huge.
