Begin 2 Change

For many women, the biggest barrier to employment isn't a lack of skills—it's the impact of trauma, isolation, poor mental health and years of believing they have little to offer. Begin2Change was created to change that. Funded through the Government's Trailblazer programme, this project supports women facing multiple and complex barriers to reconnect with themselves, their communities and their aspirations. Through creative wellbeing activities, one-to-one mentoring and supportive group work, participants are able to rebuild confidence, developed new relationships and began exploring pathways into volunteering, learning and employment. Every journey is different, but each project with the same simple principle: lasting change starts with trust. By meeting women where they were, rather than where systems expected them to be, Begin2Change helps participants move beyond survival and towards lives filled with greater confidence, purpose and opportunity. If you are feeling anxious, low on confidence, or a bit stuck ... then come and give yourself some time and space to grow. This course is for you if: - You want to feel more confident and positive. - You'd like to meet other women in a friendly, safe space. - You're ready to make a positive change but aren't sure how. You can join this FREE course if you: - Are a woman aged 18–64 and live in Calderdale - Have the right to live and work in the UK - Are not currently working and are not required to work at the moment (Not sure if that applies to you? Course starts immediately with personalised one-to-one support - you can then join our weekly creative groups from Monday 28th September or Thursday 1st October ‘26 10.30am - 12.30pm at a Central Halifax location (details provided on sign-up).
